Check out what this dope fashion stylist had to tell myboomboxx.com about herself:
“HI, MY NAME IS Paris” Wimbley and I am a fashion merchandising major at The Art Institute of Fort. Lauderdale . Prior to attending the Art Institute, I attended Clark Atlanta University and majored in Psychology. My intention within the industry entails quite a few things actually. I would love to travel as a make up artist with a make up company such as Make up forever, work as a celebrity wardrobe stylist and to work as creative director at my company (in progress) Fashun Instinct. I couldnt decide which avenue to take so I created this sort of step by step process to eventually become each of these things.
Currently, I work as a wardrobe stylist and hair & makeup artist freelance. I also attend school full time and in between time, get in as many test shoots I possibly can.Oh, ( my business partner is going to kill me, I forgot), I am also part owner of an urban wear clothing line, BEZ Stylz.I work as his fashion Merchandiser and stylist, sometimes model. Once I become established in the way that I intend to be within the next few years, I plan on moving to London. It has always been a dream of mine to live within that high fashion, “always beautiful” society. Not to say that the US isn’t but fashion in that area of the world is just so much more of who what I think represents Paris in the industry. In addition, I plan on having my employees, are they are now, spread around the U.S representing Fashion Instinct as one company. The Fashion Instinct Nation , as I like to call it, consists of Kristina Nichols out in Cali, Treyonna Pines in New York, Danielle Jones and Jasmine Jackson in Georgia and Retha Wright and Melissa Renee in Florida. We are quietly building an entity of badd women thats are stylist, make up artist, models, fashion show producers and the list goes on. , watch for that.
.
Most importantly, each and every one of us have every aim of fixing what we feel is an issue within the young African American women’s life. There are so many of us that are talented in so many ways and not utilizing them to the best of our abilities. This needs to change and we’ll be around to help fix this! Leading positive and progressive lives is precisely what our communities need to witness.
Paris’ blog was published in the new trend forecasting textbook “Fashion Forward”. Its available on Amazon.com. CHECK HER OUT!!

[INTERVIEW] :
Joie Chavis is the woman the whole world wants to know about.
The beautiful model recently gave birth to Bow Wow’s first child and after he shared his joy with the world in a letter to his fans earlier this week, all eyes were on her.
Bow Wow Confirms He’s The Baby Daddy And Admits Contemplating Suicide!
In her first interview since Bow Wow revealed he was the father, Joie talks motherhood, love and Bow Wow.
We are appreciative of Bow Wow and Joie’s honesty and we wish them both the very best of luck with their beautiful daughter.
On How She Met Bow Wow: It’s pretty funny because he contacted me because he saw my tattoo and he wanted to use me in one of his videos. He initially wanted to use me for a shoot with him because he liked my tattoo. But ironically we never moved forward with the shoot, so we just remained friends and the rest is history.
On Helping Him When He Was Stressed, Depressed, or Suicidal: He would always talk to me. We became friends before anything. So he would always talk to me and I was straight to the point with him. I would always tell him ‘you have fans, you have people who admire and look up to you. You have a beautiful blessing on the way that you have to live for. You have so much to live for so don’t think like that.’
I was definitely always there for him to cope with whatever he was going through. And just letting him know, be that father that you didn’t have to your daughter.
On Bow Wow Taking Responsibility: He’s getting all these props as dad of the year, I just hope he does the work, in fact, I pray he becomes an example to all young fathers. I was happy to hear his statements, I just pray he lives up to it.
On Bow Wow’s First Time Seeing His Daughter: He didn’t say much, he just kept looking at her like wow. He just kept saying, ‘Wow! She’s so beautiful I can’t believe I’m a father.’ It was touching for him and he was kind of tearing up. This is new for him like it is for me.
On Bow Wow Wanting To Be A Good Father: I’m happy that he’s happy and he wants to be a part of her life. I am encouraged that he wants to do the things his father didn’t do with him.
On Her Tweets: I hate that everyone takes my tweets and thinks its about him. I just tweet stuff that I agree with or stuff that is true. Not that I’m generally talking about someone…that’s not the case at all.
On Getting Back Into Shape: Its very important to me, I bust my butt in the gym twice a day. I eat healthy, drink nothing but water all day because I don’t want to be a girl who had a baby and just let her body go. I want my body to look how it did 12 months ago. I’ve always been athletic.
On Her Future: I went down a lot of career paths and I have my mind set on modeling. I wasn’t particularly going to go into male modeling, but it sort of just came. Right now I’m a full time mom. I want go back to schoo, but I don’t want to leave my daughter right now and she’s just a newborn.
On Her Vision For Their Daughter: I want my daughter to be as regular as possible. I don’t want her to be sucked into this superficial life. I want her to have a real life. I want her to go to a regular school and do whatever she wants to do. I want her to forget any of that just because of who her father is. So everything I didn’t see when I was growing up, I want her to see it.
