Yesterday Beyoncé performed her song ‘I Was Here’, taken from her latest album 4 at the United Nations General Assembly hall in New York which also doubled as a video shoot. The video for the ballad will be released in promotion of World Humanitarian Day on August 19th.
Beyonce performed on a high-rise stage with an enormous screen behind her, specially created for the event. As she sang, the screen filled with images of U.N. aid workers on the scene in various wars, famines, and floods around the world. Movie director Ridley Scott’s team contributed to the striking visual display.
