Check out what this dope fashion stylist had to tell myboomboxx.com about herself:
“HI, MY NAME IS Paris” Wimbley and I am a fashion merchandising major at The Art Institute of Fort. Lauderdale . Prior to attending the Art Institute, I attended Clark Atlanta University and majored in Psychology. My intention within the industry entails quite a few things actually. I would love to travel as a make up artist with a make up company such as Make up forever, work as a celebrity wardrobe stylist and to work as creative director at my company (in progress) Fashun Instinct. I couldnt decide which avenue to take so I created this sort of step by step process to eventually become each of these things.
Currently, I work as a wardrobe stylist and hair & makeup artist freelance. I also attend school full time and in between time, get in as many test shoots I possibly can.Oh, ( my business partner is going to kill me, I forgot), I am also part owner of an urban wear clothing line, BEZ Stylz.I work as his fashion Merchandiser and stylist, sometimes model. Once I become established in the way that I intend to be within the next few years, I plan on moving to London. It has always been a dream of mine to live within that high fashion, “always beautiful” society. Not to say that the US isn’t but fashion in that area of the world is just so much more of who what I think represents Paris in the industry. In addition, I plan on having my employees, are they are now, spread around the U.S representing Fashion Instinct as one company. The Fashion Instinct Nation , as I like to call it, consists of Kristina Nichols out in Cali, Treyonna Pines in New York, Danielle Jones and Jasmine Jackson in Georgia and Retha Wright and Melissa Renee in Florida. We are quietly building an entity of badd women thats are stylist, make up artist, models, fashion show producers and the list goes on. , watch for that. .
Most importantly, each and every one of us have every aim of fixing what we feel is an issue within the young African American women’s life. There are so many of us that are talented in so many ways and not utilizing them to the best of our abilities. This needs to change and we’ll be around to help fix this! Leading positive and progressive lives is precisely what our communities need to witness.
